Cayman ABA is a paediatric clinic in the Cayman Islands, providing ABA interventions to children with autism spectrum disorders and other related developmental delays. We are looking for an experienced and competent Clinical Supervisor to manage our ABA program. We are looking for someone who is eager to be part of a new and impassioned clinic, dedicated to serving children with autism spectrum disorders and other related developmental delays.
As a Clinical Supervisor, you should demonstrate excellent client service, communication and organizational skills, plus the ability to perform well in stressful situations. Our position also requires knowledge of online healthcare practice management systems. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure steady workflows and uninterrupted service in our medical facility.
The Clinical Supervisor is an experienced and competent Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role works within the Management Team, consisting of managers and other supervisors. The role works to develop an interdisciplinary team’s ability to provide a range of clinical services for children and adolescents with Autism spectrum disorders and related developmental disabilities. The Clinical Supervisor may also consult, attend client related meetings, provide training to caregivers, conduct evaluations of clients and design treatment plans for clients. The Clinical Supervisor is a clinical teacher who educates, observes, assesses, and supervises the activities and service delivery of all clinical staff.
The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for monitoring and continually evaluating and improving the effectiveness of all treatment plans, functional assessments, behavioral evaluations, behavior plans and individual education plans for clients, and the processes and policies surrounding each.
This role acts as the enforcer of all healthcare related policies, procedures and quality management systems. This position is responsible for the coordination of special projects for the company, providing clinical staff training, addressing client needs, and reporting to the Board of Directors on a quarterly basis. The role is also responsible for ensuring compliance with all local and international healthcare licensure regulations and ethical compliance codes. The Clinical Supervisor maintains a weekly billable caseload of service hours as directed by Managers.

Responsibilities:
- Serves as the initial point of contact for families seeking information about our services
- Responds to initial contact form respondents within 48 hours, and provides information about our waitlist and other services available on island
- Works with the Clinical Operations Supervisor to manage our waitlist
- Liaises with the Operations department, to recommend and forecast staffing needs to meet client demand
- Leads the client on-boarding process in collaboration with the Clinical Operations Supervisor; conducts intake meetings and ensures all client documentation is on file
- Develops client forms as needed
- Serves as the Child Protection Officer of our organization; is the point of contact for staff reporting child protection concerns, and escalates matters of child safety to the appropriate people
- Attends all client MDT meetings, records meeting minutes, and follows up on care-team action items to ensure followthrough
- Act as case coordinator, ensuring that each of our clients have the appropriate care-team members
- Advocates for client needs and helps clients access a range of services available within the community
- Collaborates with marketing agencies to produce high-quality materials are up to date
- Posts on social media at least monthly, with new content; responds to social media inquiries
- Builds relationships with other providers, to raise awareness of ABA and special needs in general
- Leads Special Interest Groups aimed at creating change
- Actively communicates Cayman ABA’s outreach efforts to community
- Collaborate with the Clinical Operations Supervisor to manage all client and clinical scheduling needs
- Ensures KPIs for Clinical Department are met
- Implement and assist in development of clinical policies and procedures
- Continually assess company, program and staff needs. Based on assessment, identify, develop and deliver training or processes to improve areas of need.
- Collect and direct collection of data on staff performance, effectiveness of programming and adherence to processes
- Present Performance Appraisals and Development Plan Review to BCBA’s quarterly; attend quarterly RBT Performance Appraisals
- Monitor Staff competencies: complete Performance Integrity Checklists and other competency measures for direct and indirect reports.
- Assist BCBA’s to complete a Development Plan and provide the tools to be successful
- Assist BCBA’s with goal setting and achievement
- Provide support to clinical team members in skill development and staff management to improve the application of therapy across programs and clients
- Participation in, observation of, and/or attendance to sessions, meetings, and supervision meetings of staff.
- Reviews BCBA workflows, processes, and parent communications, and provides feedback regularly
Management Team Requirements & Expectations:
- Maintain confidentiality of clients and staff, as a member of the management team
- Liaise with the senior management team to identify potential office dysfunctions
- Ensure compliance with current healthcare regulations, medical laws, local business laws and high ethical standards
- Continually review and make recommendations within the management team, to ensure we’re meeting all client needs.
- Develop, lead and implement continuous improvement for assigned projects and programs.
- Participation in, observation of, and/or attendance to staff meetings
- Implement and help develop office policies and procedures
- Keep up-to-date on information and technology affecting functional area(s) to increase innovation and ensure compliance.
- Maintain confidential medical and staff records
Additional Duties:
- Actively communicates Cayman ABA’s outreach efforts to community
- Participates in professional meetings or conferences deemed to be beneficial program development
- Adheres to the mission, vision and values of Cayman ABA
Requirements
Eligibility:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst in good standing with the BACB®
- Three or more years' experience providing staff direction and development in a supervisory or management role.
- A minimum of three years' experience working directly with children with Autism and/or developmental delays.
- Requires Master's degree, PsyD, or PhD from an accredited college or university in one of the following disciplines: applied behavior analysis, early childhood education/development, curriculum and instruction, early childhood special education, special education, pediatric therapy, psychology, speech and language pathology or related field
Requirements
- Minimum contract of 2.5 years (30 months)
- Employee must obtain a CPAM licensure (assistance provided)
- Must pass HIV test and criminal background check
- Must obtain reliable transportation within the first month of relocation
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position; days and hours of work are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am – 6:00 pm (inclusive of one hour lunch).
