Job Description:
The Department of Psychology at Salve Regina University invites applications for tenure-track assistant professor in Counseling / Clinical Psychology to begin in Fall 2025. The successful candidate will primarily teach and serve undergraduate psychology students.
The ideal candidate would be able to teach courses on topics of psychological diagnoses, theories of personality, contemporary therapies, and special topics in their areas of expertise in addition to standard psychology courses like Introduction to Psychology. A teaching load commensurate with the other duties of the position is set at 7 courses per year.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Responsibilities include teaching, maintaining productive research and scholarship, advising undergraduate students, and participating in service at the university, local, and national levels.
