Since 1974, the Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI) has been the primary membership organization for those interested in the philosophy, science, application, and teaching of behavior analysis. ABAI strives to contribute to the well-being of society by developing, enhancing, and supporting the growth and vitality of the science of behavior analysis through research, education, and practice.

ABAI provides many services to its members and the field: events that promote dissemination of the science and provide continuing education opportunities for practitioners, job placement services for applicants and employers, important scholarly journals, and support for affiliated chapters and special interest groups.
